Clematis serratifolia Rehder

낙엽 덩굴성. 길이 2m. 잎 마주나기, 2회 3출 깃털형겹잎, 소엽은 긴달걀꼴 또는 피침형, 첨두, 예저 또는 원저, 어느 정도 치밀한 톱니가 있으며, 양면에 털이 없다. 소엽 크기는2.5-5cm × 1-2cm로서 작다. 잎자루 길이는 4-6cm이다. 꽃지름 2-4cm, 짧은 꽃자루에 몇 개씩 밑을 향해 달린다. 꽃받침잎은 4개, 연한 노란색. 꽃잎은 긴타원형, 약간 뾰족, 겉에는 털이 없으나 안쪽에는 털이 있고, 수술은 많으며, 수술대에 털이 있다. 열매 및 종자 수과는 달걀꼴, 길이 2.5mm, 털이 있으며 끝에 암술대가 꼬리처럼 달린다. 암술대는 길이 5mm, 연한 노란색 또는 흰색 털이 있다.

Vines woody. Branches shallowly 6-8-grooved, sparsely puberulous or glabrous. Leaves 2-ternate; petiole 3-7.5 cm; leaflet blades lanceolate, narrowly ovate, or ovate, 3-6(-8) × 1-2.5(-3) cm, papery, both surfaces sparsely puberulous, glabrescent, base broadly cuneate to rounded, margin irregularly serrate or denticulate, apex attenuate; basal veins abaxially nearly flat. Cymes axillary, 1-3-flowered; peduncle 0.5-1.5 cm; bracts petiolate or sessile, lanceolate to linear, 4-15 mm. Flowers 2-3.5 cm in diam. Pedicel 3-7 cm, sparsely puberulous. Sepals 4, yellow, ascending, oblong, elliptic-lanceolate, or narrowly ovate, 1.5-2.5 × 0.5-0.8 cm, abaxially glabrous except for velutinous margin, adaxially appressed puberulous, apex caudateapiculate. Stamens 0.8-1.2 cm; filaments puberulous; anthers narrowly oblong, 1.2-2.6 mm, glabrous, apex minutely apiculate. Ovaries pubescent. Style 7-9 mm, densely villous. Achenes elliptic, ca. 3 × 2 mm, pubescent; persistent style ca. 3 cm, plumose.
